Local author Keith Christian Milne will present a reading from his novel Unity House at the Northampton Senior Center on April 15. The event will include a reading from the opening chapter followed by discussion and audience questions.
Unity House explores themes of reinvention, belonging, and the unexpected ways people create chosen family. The novel opens with Tanner Dalton returning to California to confront the impending death of his estranged mother — a moment that sets him on a path toward rebuilding his life in ways he never anticipated.
Milne is also the author of The Unlikely Angel of Casco Bay, a Maine-based novel blending suspense and emotional complexity. His forthcoming work, Hampton Roads Gold, continues his exploration of characters facing moral crossroads and second chances.
Born in 1958, Milne writes fiction that examines resilience, aging, relationships, and the turning points that shape later chapters of life. He lives in Western Massachusetts and is actively engaged in the local literary community.
The April 15 reading offers attendees an opportunity to hear directly from the author, learn about his creative process, and participate in conversation about the themes behind his work. All are welcome.
